In addition to this, TNUSRB has also recruited 10,099 Youth Brigade personnel who were later absorbed into Tamil Nadu Special Police. Presently, we are striving to conduct regular recruitments of SIs and Gr.II Police Constables, Gr.II Jail warders and Firemen on annual basis. We have recently concluded the recruitment of 968 Sub- Inspectors of Police (Taluk, AR & TSP) and declared the results on 15.04.2021. Over the years, TNUSRB has adopted the use of modern technology to make the recruitment process more transparent and efficient. Since 2015, the system of online applications has been successfully functioning. The board has acquired 52 digital height measuring devices to eliminate human errors. The TNUSRB website has been revamped to suit the current requirements. It is proposed to conduct online written examination for Sub-Inspectors of Police (Technical) for the next recruitment and extend it to other examinations being conducted by TNUSRB in future.
